Pittwater Day Surgery is delighted to share the good news that we have been successful in obtaining the renewal of our National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS) certification for a further 3 years. Pittwater Day Surgery has a Governance framework that focuses on ensuring positive outcomes for patients, their families and our staff.
The framework includes:
An Executive Management Committee with knowledge of Hospitals and Healthcare
An experienced Management team
A reporting review structure (via Committees) to monitor and improve
outcomes
Systems and processes that measure quality of care.
Clinical Effectiveness is measured by:
Quality and Safety Indicators used to measure and monitor performance
Quality plans initiated when required
Quality and safety indicators are benchmarked
High risk areas regularly audited
Quality performance and safety results are reported to the Executive Management Committee
